About Me
One of the biggest things that gets me through life and living with a disability is my passion for storytelling.
For as long as I can remember, I've enjoyed movies, shows, books, video games, or anything with a good story past shallow enjoyment. I've always been deeply curious about how and why art is made.
What goes into it? Who made it? What are they trying to say? How do the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park look so real? Why do I get emotional when Silver and Jim form a father-son bond in Treasure Planet?
Also for as long as I can remember, I struggled with embracing this side of myself. I was concerned about the opinions of others around me, and spending too much time talking about and breaking down fictional stories was a waste of time and that it made me look silly. And yet, I always came back to it...
No matter how hard I denied my passions, I always broke down and remembered that I can't run from my true self.
My character arc has not been linear. I become enlightened, and then fear what the world thinks about me and try to adapt to what others expect and want from me, and then lose sight of my passions and sense of self all over again.
I must allow myself to love, analyze, and create stories.
That's who I am...
My Passions

Writing
Writing my stories has helped me to want to wake up every day and experience the world. It drives my passion for learning because I can use my experiences to tell stories and enrich not just my own life but the lives of others as well.
I can come up with a story with almost any premise and I try my best to integrate key relatable human elements into my characters and themes.

Editing
I'm no master editor and I don't have access to premium software, but I have a good eye for striking imagery, flow and pacing. Check out my YouTube videos for examples of my editing..

Leadership
Despite my social anxiety, I have a knack for bringing people together to accomplish great tasks. In a Twitch streamer's community, I brought together dozens of people to do community art sessions to draw fan art for him.
Want to work with me?
It's my dream to one day have my own animation studio where I can provide opportunities for people to make a living off of their passions and come together to tell meaningful stories.
In the meantime, maybe you and I can make something! Just hit me up and let me know what you've got and perhaps I can lend my limited but heartfelt desire to tell stories. If you're interested in helping me with any of my own projects, I'd love to hear that too!
I'd like to work with someone who will tell me when I'm wrong. I don't believe anyone involved in the creative process should go uncriticized. All voices should be heard, all in charge should be questioned.
